The enduring popularity of the Australian Grand Prix saw well over a quarter of a million race fans head to Melbourne at the weekend for the opening round of the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship.
The Grand Prix Australia 2008 was the first race of the 2008 Formula One World Championship. It took place on the weekend of March 13th–16th 2008 at the Albert Park Circuit of Melbourne.
